The Sea Breeze 2017 exercise started  in Odesa on Monday and  will last until July 23. In the framework of «Sea-Breeze-2017», more than 30 ships and military vessels of Naval Forces, of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, USA, Turkey, Romania and Georgia take part in the drills.

Besides, the representatives of the Armed Forces of Azerbaijan, Bulgaria, Belgium, Great Britain, Georgia, Canada, Moldova, Lithuania, Norway, Poland and Greece will participate in the drills.

Yesterday the frigate "TURGUTREIS", the landing ship "KARAMURSEL BEY", the submarine «BATIRAY» of Turkey's navy, and the corvette "CONTRAAMIRAL HORIA MACELLARIU" of the Romanian Navy arrived to the port of Odessa.

Border guards of State Border Guard Service of Ukraine also participate in multinational drills.

The ship-boat warehouse of the Odessa Marine Guard Detachment, the Diamond aircraft, the helicopter MI-9 of the Odesa Separate Aviation Squadron and the officers of the Special Operations on the water of the Odessa Marine Guard Detachment and the officers of the Border Rapid Response Unit of «Izmail» of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine are involved.

These studies are extremely important in today's conditions.

The experience of joint actions will help to improve the coordination of units in a case of crisis situation in the region.
