Recently in Antalya (Turkey) the World Championship in universal combat ended, where the national team of Ukraine won first place among teams from 31 countries.

To a large extent, the victory was brought to our team by athletes of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine. The Ukrainian team, which numbered a total of 41 athletes, included 13 representatives of the border agency.

All border guards - participants of the championship returned from competitions with awards, and more than half of them won two medals in the categories "Classic" and "Light". As a result, representatives of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine brought 21 medals to the national treasury. At the same time, eight border guards won awards of the highest quality.

At the world championship, the Border Guard Service of Ukraine was represented by athletes of the Departmental Sports Committee, the National Academy of the State Border Guard Service, the Dozor detachment and detachments stationed in Lviv and Chernivtsi.
