Border guards of Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi Border Guard Detachment apprehend Ukrainian citizen attempting to cross border illegally.

A 44-year-old resident of the Odessa region first attempted to cross the border at a border crossing point, but was prevented from leaving Ukraine due to an unpaid loan. Therefore, the woman decided to enter Moldova through field roads by illegally crossing the border. However, her plans were foiled by the border guards of Tarutyne border guard division. The individual has been held accountable for administrative violations.

In addition, 5 other offenders were detained by the border guards of Podillia Border Guard Detachment.

On the outskirts of Novooleksandrivka, border guards spotted three unknown individuals using a thermal imager. When ordered to stop, the violators began to flee. Warning shots had to be made to apprehend them. Upon inspection, it was found that residents of Donetsk and Odessa regions decided to cross the border illegally due to an exit ban. The men contacted a supposed local resident through a messenger who provided them with the necessary "instructions" for 4,500 US dollars.

The other two offenders were detained near the village of Andriyashivka. It turned out that residents of the border area decided to illegally travel to the Republic of Moldova on their own, knowing the local area.

The perpetrators are being prosecuted for administrative wrongdoing.
