An attempt was made to import three SUVs, according to information from operational agents of the Lviv Border Guard Unit.

A MAN truck, transporting three SUVs, was heading to Ukraine through the Krakovets checkpoint. To pass the inspection, a 50-year-old Ukrainian directed the vehicle to the "red corridor" and duly declared the ISUZU, NISSAN, and MAZDA vehicles.

According to the documents provided for verification, it was established that a resident of the Lviv region was moving the cars as humanitarian aid for one of the charitable foundations. During additional checks, border guards, in collaboration with customs officers, found out that the recipient was not expecting such "humanitarian aid," and the person transporting them was unknown to them.

A protocol on violating customs rules was drawn up in this case, and the vehicles, the value of which is being determined, were confiscated.
