Ukrainians wanted were detained on the border with Hungary and Russia

Two Ukrainians wanted for crimes related to drug trafficking were detained by border guards of the Kharkiv and Chop border guard detachments.

Border guards detained a Ukrainian citizen at the Goptivka BCP. During the documents inspection of our compatriot, born in 1966, who was returning to Ukraine on foot, law enforcement officers found that the man was wanted by law enforcement agencies in Ukraine. Border guards took all necessary measures to detain the person.

According to preliminary data, it has been constituted that the citizen is wanted for the purpose of arrest and criminal prosecution for committing a crime.

Currently, the citizen has been handed over to the National Police for further legal decision.

Another Ukrainian, who was also wanted, was found by border guards of the Chop border guard detachment on the border with Hungary. A 20-year-old Transcarpathian man was detained while trying to leave Ukraine at the Tysa BCP. During the documents inspection of “Audi” passengers of the Czech registration one of databases of militiamen worked.

Border guards constituted that our compatriot is wanted on suspicion of committing a criminal offense.

The man was handed over to law enforcement officers.
