Due to the information arisen in Russian mass-media on allegedly coming refugees, State Border Guard Service of Ukraine summed up statistical data on state border crossings over the period of January and February, 2014.

In fact, be informed that during January-February, 2014, in accordance with the established procedure border guards allowed leaving for Russian Federation by 890 000 Ukrainians (of which 480 000 in January and 405 000 in February).  These data remains to be at the level of previous year.

Consequently, in comparison with January, 2014, the number of state border crossings by Ukrainians leaving for Russian Federation in February decreased for 16 %.
