Two Ukrainian border guards guarding the Ukrainian Embassy in Istanbul and Ambassador's wife, Tetiana Sybiha, assisted the man who fell on the roadway.

“Chief Warrant Officer Volodymyr Hodevskyi noticed in the monitor of the video surveillance system that the person who had become ill fell on the roadway and immediately reported it to me,” Lieutenant Serhii Kravchenko said.

The border guard officer just changed from duty. He learned well during tactical medicine classes what “platinum 10 minutes” or “golden hour” is, so he immediately rushed to help the fainted man with Volodymyr Hodevskyi and the Ambassador's wife.

“We saw a man lying in the middle of the road and choking on foam coming out of his mouth. Putting the man on his side, we began to bring him to consciousness, gave him some water to drink and wash himself. After recovering, the man, who was ill, took out a certificate saying: “epilepsy, epilepsy,” Serhii Kravchenko said.

Border guards called Turkish police officers on duty near the Embassy, who had already taken the sick compatriot under their care.

“It all ended with a happy end – thanks to Serhii Kravchenko and Volodymyr Hodevskyi for their service and humanity!” Ukrainian Ambassador to Turkey Andrii Sybiha wrote on his Facebook page.
