Personnel of the State Border Guard Service units involved in guarding and escorting detainees continue to receive practical skills from their Polish colleagues on the treatment of foreigners and stateless persons detained in places of detention.

After a ten-day theoretical training last year at the Bialystok Specialized Training Center of the Border Guard of the Republic of Poland, the best graduates of this center were able to apply the acquired knowledge in practice. During the week, two defenders of the Ukrainian borders took part in the practical activities of the two Guarded Centers for Detaining Foreigners of the Polish Border Guard (one family-type and one for men).

It should be noted that this year, with the assistance of Polish colleagues, another 20 Ukrainian border guards will undergo similar training and have the opportunity to practice guarding and escorting detainees in accordance with European standards.
