Recently, the head of the Lviv Border Guard Detachment met with the heads of the Nadbuzhanskyi and Bieszczadzki Departments of the Border Guard Service of the Republic of Poland.

Ukrainian and Polish borderguards estimated the protection of the joint area as well as the results of activities, summed up the results of border cooperation, including measures to ensure passage operations in the conditions of increased passenger traffic on the Ukrainian-Polish border as a result of the full-scale russian invasion of Ukraine.

Having discussed a number of topical questions, the law enforcement officers determined the main directions of further cooperation and tasks for the next period. In particular, Parties agreed to improve the protection of the joint area, to provide an effective counteraction against crime at the border and to accelerate control procedures at BCPs.   

At the end of the meetings Ukrainian borderguards thanked Polish colleagues for fruitful cooperation and comprehensive assistance in such a difficult time for the country.
