Yesterday, “BMW” vehicle arrived at “Bachivsk” border crossing point, Sumy oblast. Driver, citizen of Moldova, was going to Russia. While conducting checking procedures, border guards in cooperation with customs service representatives detected features of possible substitution of chassis number. A hand-made metal plate with the chassis number indicated possible violations.

At the moment, the vehicle (1991 production year) was confiscated and transferred to the representatives of Ministry of Internal Affairs for further expertise.

Another vehicle “Peugeot” (2000 production year) with inappropriate chassis number was detected in Lviv oblast. Citizen of Ukraine went back through “Ustyluh” border crossing point, located at the Ukrainian-Polish border.
