Two Ukrainian citizens were unable to cross the border at the Krakivets checkpoint.

The young men were travelling by two buses and were going to leave Ukraine as passengers late last night. They had taken drugs and pills with them, apparently hoping to cross the border without any problems, because it was a “holiday”.

However, the service dog sniffed the “connoisseurs” of drugs.

As it turned out during the personal inspection, one of the Ukrainians was carrying several packets of the white substance. According to the traveller’s words, it was methadone, two blisters with pills containing the drug “methadone-3H” 25 mg each and several pills containing the drug “tramadol” 200 mg each.

Another of our compatriots had hidden the roll with white matter in the phone case. According to the young man’s words, it was amphetamine, and the devices for the consumption of narcotic substances with resins, which by their properties are analogous to narcotic substances. The transporting of those substances is also illegal.

According to these facts, the border guards reported the competent authorities about the commitment of the criminal offense.
