Yesterday, border guards of Chop border guard detachment detained two citizens of Turkey in Zakarpatya oblast.

At first border guards checked documents which certify the identity of two foreigners who came to the railway station by "Odessa-Uzhhorod" train. They presented valid passports for travelling abroad and informed that they had come to Uzhhorod to see local places of interest.

Soon border guards of "Onokivtsi" border guard checkpoint detained two unknowns persons, 300 meters from the state border. They were the same people, who allegedly came with the aim of tourism.

Detained men were transferred to the "Uzhhorod" border guard division to clarify the circumstances of the offense and draw up administrative and procedural documents.
