Border guards together with the representatives of the Custom Service prevented two attempts at illegal import of goods at the “Krakivets” and “Shehyni” border crossing points.

A citizen of Chernivtsi tried to enter Ukraine by minibus “Mercedes”. He chose the “red corridor” line for the border crossing procedure. According to the risk analysis and assess border guards decided to conduct procedure of the second line control against the vehicle. During the joint inspection with the representatives of the Custom Service and operational unit of the SBGSU joint search group detected 5 iPhone 15. The approximate value of detected gadgets is 400 thousand UAH.

Border guards stopped another “Mercedes” driver at “Shehyni” border crossing point. The driver guided his car into the 'green corridor' line upon entering the territory of the border crossing point. During the border control, the inspection group discovered hidden goods. A citizen of Khmelytskyi region tried to import to Ukraine in the car’s trunk above 60 perfumes, 18 pairs of sport shoes with approximate assessment 450 thousand UAH.

The representatives of the Custom Service drew up protocols about these facts. Undeclared goods were seized according to the law.
