Few days ago border guards of “Kosyne” border guard division, Mukacheve border guard detachment, detained two men who tried to violate the state border in Zakarpattia oblast.

 

Few days ago border guards of “Kosyne” border guard division, Mukacheve border guard detachment, detained two men who tried to violate the state border in Zakarpattia oblast.

The border guards detained two men 150 metres away from the border line. They turned out to be 43 and 24 year-old citizens of Georgia.  The older man has been living in Ukraine since 1988; he has already become a citizen of Ukraine. The younger detainee proved to be the citizen of Georgia who arrived to Ukraine recently.

These persons attempted to illegally enter the European Union. For this offence, they will bear responsibility according to the current Ukrainian legislation.
