We traditionally choose the TOP 10 countries of destination of our compatriots and ten foreign countries, whose citizens most often came to Ukraine in the first half of 2021.

Despite long-term quarantine restrictions and a significant reduction in passenger traffic at BCPs on the state border of Ukraine, border guards note a significant increase in the number of trips of Ukrainian citizens to some countries. At the same time, the number of foreigners arriving in Ukraine is increasing.

We traditionally choose the TOP 10 countries of destination of our compatriots and ten foreign countries, whose citizens most often came to Ukraine in the first half of 2021.

For example, Poland remains the leader among Ukrainians - in the first half of the year more than 1.9 million people went to the neighboring country. The second position with an increase of more than six times (compared to the first half of 2020) was occupied by Turkey - 774.5 thousand Ukrainians visited this country. Egypt took the third place with a double increase and a total of more than 705 thousand trips of Ukrainian citizens.

Regarding foreign citizens who visited Ukraine in the first six months of this year, the largest increase was shown by the Republic of Turkey (+ 29% compared to the same period last year). The number of German citizens increased by 6%. Insignificant in absolute numbers, but very significant in comparison, is the increase in the number of US citizens who arrived in Ukraine in the first half of 2021.
