On the basis of the Main Training Center for the personnel of the State Border Guard Service named after Major General Ihor Momot, the training of servicemen of the Border Guard Service of type “C” has been completed.

Border guards from Chernivtsi, Mukachevo, Chop, Lviv and Sumy border guard detachments took part in the three-week training course. They were selected based on the results of testing physical endurance and stress resistance.

During the training period, border guards acquired professional skills and acquired special knowledge, which they will definitely need to counteract illegal activities at the state border. More than 25 border guards raised their level of professional training by practicing exercises in tactical-special, special fire, physical training and tactical medicine.

By simulating different situations and scenarios, border guards honed their skills in carrying out special measures to physically detain people on the premises and in the field. The servicemen also increased their level of competence in home care in a combat situation. Special forces learned to provide assistance in the shelter sector, with special attention paid to the development of the MARCH algorithm.
