On the occasion of Children’s Day, which is celebrated in June 1. For more than 100 trainees of the Border Sports Club “Kordon” in Lutsk organized a race and training in the open air.

From the gym, participants ran along the route that passed through the Lesya Ukrainka Park to the Castle Square. Athletes quickly covered the three-kilometer distance and looked forward to an unusual training session in Lubart Castle.

The participants of the training felt like real knights of today, because the high walls of the castle created a majestic and special atmosphere. Which added even more strength and endurance to the children-athletes who easily performed all the exercises, showing general endurance, strength of will and courage.

In addition to effective training, the children also received a lot of positive emotions and impressions, as well as unbridled energy, which they will need in the near future, as young karate fighters are waiting for new fights and, of course, victories.

Athlete Ivan Banzeruk, a participant in the Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro (Brazil) and an instructor of the Sports Committee of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine, also joined the athletes. By the way, he won a license and will represent Ukraine in athletics (athletic walking) at this year's Olympics in Tokyo.

The coach of the Sports Committee of the State Border Guard Service, Chairman of the Children's Sports Club “Kordon” Bohdan Mandrykin said that he organized this event to promote sports, including Kyokushin karate among the youth of Lutsk. After all, this type of martial arts cultivates physical and moral endurance, hardens and improves the fighting spirit, endurance and thirst for victory. These are the qualities that are needed by future defenders of our Motherland. The trainer thanked the State Border Guard Service for the support and assistance in the development of the Kordon Insurance Company.
