Border guards of the Chernihiv border guard detachment disclosed tobacco for hookah hidden from the control in the truck.

A VOLVO automobile with Czech registration, driven by a citizen of Ukraine, arrived at the Novi Yarylovychi border crossing point to enter Ukraine.

In the driver's cab, under the cladding of the dashboard, a joint border and customs inspection group revealed the hidden goods.

The man, presumably to earn extra money, tried to smuggle in 177 cans, stylized as canned food, with a mixture for hookah, made in Russia, across the border.

As a result, customs officers drew up a protocol on violation of customs rules. Tobacco, valued at 19,000 hryvnias, was confiscated. In addition, the tractor itself was confiscated before the case was considered in court.

As a result of a reckless step, the 28-year-old Ukrainian, who worked for one of the European logistics companies, will lose not only the hidden goods that contain systemic poison, carcinogenic and mutagenic substances, but probably also work.
