Before the start of the full-scale war, Oleksandr with the call sign "Doni" worked for almost 8 years as a sales manager of medical drugs.

And when the war started in the east, he went to the military commissariat, where he heard: "We will call you back." Oleksandr didn't waste time and completed more than one course in tactical medicine. The boy made a decision for himself that in any case he would go to defend his native Motherland and he would need this knowledge. At the tactical medicine classes, he absorbed all the information on the fly, watched the videos, practiced all the necessary skills and received the relevant certificates.

In the spring of 2022, Oleksandr enlisted in the DPSU. Later, with the unit in which he was a medical instructor, he went to the East to defend the country from the enemy.

All the time, the boy was near the positions held by the border guards, because medical help could be needed at any moment. During the time when the unit was in advanced positions in Donetsk region, Oleksandr had to provide first aid to his comrades.

Oleksandr recalls: "There was a direct hit on one of our positions. The boys reported that everyone was alive, but two of them were wounded. You understand that it has already arrived and you have 15 minutes, while the reloading is in progress, to stabilize the victims, load them and quickly take them out. Already during the evacuation, the enemy began to fire mercilessly. But one of us had a strong guardian angel, all the shells burst almost nearby, and the driver managed to maneuver at breakneck speed. Fortunately, we managed to evacuate the boys and hand them over to medics in time. Today, our brothers are already in the ranks with us."

The guy also says that health instructors don't sit idly by and wait for someone to get hurt. "We are always on the job - we go out on tasks together with our comrades, take positions, we can bring BC or water and food. A communications cable had been damaged during one of the shellings in our direction, and since it was the closest I could get there, I volunteered without hesitation to try and fix it. I only had a first-aid kit with me, so when I found the damage, I had to "treat" them with a medical patch," Oleksandr says.

And the border guard dreams that the hated enemy will be defeated, the war will end and the reconstruction of Ukraine will begin, which will become even more beautiful.

Our fighters are brave and brave! Victory is ours!
