Border guards detained two Georgian citizens near the Russian border last night.

According to the district inspector, a man and a woman, citizens of Georgia, were detained by the border guard detail of the Bilolutsk BG Division. Under cover of night, foreigners tried to make their way across the Ukrainian-Russian border but failed. The detainees said that they intended to work in a restaurant in Russia, but they were banned from entering the country.

Administrative documents have been drawn up against foreigners for attempting to cross the state border illegally and violating the border regime. The further fate of violators will be decided by the court.

It should be noted that a few days ago, border guards of the Bilolutsk BG Division detained two citizens of Azerbaijan and two citizens of Uzbekistan in the same direction. Foreigners were also banned from entering Russia and tried to enter Russia illegally. Now they are awaiting trial and expulsion.
