Three foreigners who decided to cross the state border illegally failed to reach Slovakia. Their journey was interrupted by the borderguards of the Palad-Komarovtsy unit of Chop detachment of inspectors of the border service.

While on duty at the Pavlovo BCP, the borderguard noticed that three unknown people were moving towards the state border near the village of Batfa, Uzhhorod district. A response team went in search of possible offenders who bypassed the BCP.

The foreigners were detained one and a half kilometers from the border. They turned out to be citizens of Nepal and had temporary residence permits in Ukraine.

The detainees were taken to the temporary detention center of the Chop Border Detachment. Their future will be decided by the court.
