Last night border guards detected relics that may have cultural and historical value at the "Katerynivka" border crossing point, Sumy oblast.

The woman, citizen of Russia, was going to leave Ukraine by «Toyota» vehicle and has selected simplified traffic lane. However, her behavior was suspicious and border guards decided to carry out additional inspection of the vehicle. During the inspection, two ancient icons were detected among her personal belongings on the back seat.

Another citizen of Russia was detected while returning home with the Bible (1915 production year) and the coin (1763 production year) at "Novoazovsk" border crossing point, Donetsk region.   

Another citizen of Russia, moving by “Moscow-Bulgaria” train, brought along 7 coins (1870-1915 production years) with himself. Border guards of Chernivtsi border guard detachment in cooperation with customs service representatives detected coins during the inspection of the train at "Vadul- Siret" border crossing point. Detected things were confiscated and transferred to customs service representatives.
