During the border control, the servicemen of Luhansk border guard detachment of the Joint Forces paid attention to the woman's nervous behavior. Taking into account the existing risks regarding the possible movement of prohibited items, border guards decided to further inspect the Ukrainian woman's belongings.

Subsequently, border guards in cooperation with State Fiscal Service officers detected 2 million Russian rubles in personal belongings of the Ukrainian national. The detected amount, in hryvnia equivalent, is more than 730 thousand UAH, significantly exceeds that allowed by the legislation of Ukraine to move across the state border.

The woman explained that she was transporting the money at the request of an acquaintance, who promised her a reward for this service.

Documents of administrative proceedings were drawn up against the citizen of Ukraine. Russian millions were confiscated in the prescribed manner.
