The detainee was handed over to representatives of the National Police.

A bus with Polish registration “Lviv-Wroclaw” arrived at the Shehyni BCP. During the passport control, a database of border guards was triggered on the documents of one of the passengers with a note “if detected, detain”.

Border guards of the Lviv BG detachment immediately detained the man and notified the National Police. It is transpired that the 40-year-old Ukrainian was wanted by law enforcement officers of Lviv region on suspicion of committing a crime under Art. 115 of the Criminal Code “Premeditated murder”.

The man probably thought that he had been forgotten and decided to choose Poland as the place of further hiding, as it turned out that he had been wanted since December 2015.

The detainee was handed over to representatives of the National Police.
