So, on departure to the Russian Federation, the truck of the DAF brand, driven by a Ukrainian national arrived at the BCP. During the passport control, the border guards had doubts about the validity of the registration documents provided by the driver for the vehicle and the trailer, so an advanced check was carried out.

According to the results of the study of the documents, it was established that the registration certificates for the vehicle and the trailer contained signs of complete forgery.

During the interview with the border guards, the man admitted that he used forged documents, which contain information about the increased weight of the vehicle and the trailer, and provided valid registration documents for the car and the trailer.

Currently, the identification of signs of a criminal offense, the responsibility for which is provided by Art. 358 (forgery of documents, seals, stamps and forms, sale or use of forged documents, seals, stamps) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine, border guards informed the competent authorities. Investigative actions are underway.
