Such goods were found by law enforcement officers in Odesa region when they stopped one of the cars near the border.

According to operational information, border guards of the Bilhorod-Dnistrovsk border guard detachment together with the Security service of Ukraine and the National Police representatives detained the violator on the outskirts of Artsyz city. Our fellow countryman was driving a Fiat car.

During the inspection of the foreign car, law enforcement officers found 4 barrels and 7 canisters of liquid with a characteristic smell of alcohol hidden under bags of straw. A total of 1,035 liters of alcohol were stored in plastic containers.

The driver of the vehicle could not explain the origin of the goods and provide any accompanying documents, so the containers with liquid were removed.

Currently, the cargo with alcohol has been transferred to the State Tax Service in Odesa.
