The border guards of MostyskaDetachmentat "Krakovets"border crossing point prevented illegal transportation of the medical equipment across the state border. The citizen of Ukraine tried to transportit in “Lexus” automobile.

Going through "Krakovets"border crossing point, the man chose the "green lane". Although, considering all the risks the inspector of the Border Guard Service decided to have the car inspected in details.

During the check together with the fiscal service inspector more than 30 items of medical equipment were revealed in the car. In particular, bone drills, endoscopes, needles for a spinal puncture, clips, and containers for tools. In total there were found 62 equipmentunits for the sum of over UAH 940 000 in the car.

By now the goods have been confiscated and handed over to the customs officials.
