Twenty-six teams from thirteen departments competed to win the tournament.

On August 21 in the capitals Sports Palace the hand-to-hand fighting tournament on «President’s Cup» among the representatives of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and other, formed in accordance with the laws of Ukraine military units, law enforcement agencies and rescue services took place.

More than 100 athletes from various law enforcement agencies of Ukraine gathered at the sports arena to compete for the title of the strongest in the section “Dosed Contact”, which allows striking and kicking, execution of throws, painful and suffocating holds, and also demonstrated their technique in the showdown with the elements of self-defense.

As a result of the competition in the category “Dosed Contact” the first place was won by the team of the State Bureau of Investigation, the second team place was taken by the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine, the honorable third place went to the National Guard of Ukraine.

It should be noted that hand-to-hand fighting is a unique sport, which is an integral part of professional training of military personnel.
