The Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees in Ukraine (UNHCR) delegation visited the Administration of the State Border Guard Service.

The UNHCR delegation discussed with border guards the issue of assistance to refugees, forced displaced persons, and stateless persons. The parties exchanged information on the coordination of joint efforts at border crossing points aimed at protecting people who were forced to leave their homes due to the military aggression of the russian federation.

The parties also discussed the possibility of the State Border Guard Service granting informational support and share statistical data with the UNHCR.

At the end of the visit, the head of the UNHCR delegation, Karolina Lindholm Billing, and the Head of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine, Serhii Deineko, thanked each other for their cooperation and agreed on further steps of cooperation.
