Border guard mortarmen destroy the occupiers’ manpower and firepower near Bakhmut day and night.

The enemy began shelling the positions of our defenders from the anti-tank grenade launchers of the SPG-9. The border guards opened mortar fire in response. As a result, they destroyed both the enemy's mounted grenade launcher and 3 operating personnel.

Another efficient and successful job of the border guard mortarmen was against the occupiers’ assault group at night, which tried to approach our positions under the cover of darkness. While conducting aerial reconnaissance with a drone equipped with a thermal imager, the border guards were able to spot the invaders hiding behind buildings. Several dozens of mines fired along the mortar trajectory left 5 enemies dead and another 7 wounded.
