The situation in Crimea is complicated.

A significant number of Russian Federation warships are within the Black and Azov Seas waters:

 

- at Black Sea - 31 ships;

- at Kerch Strait - 5 ships;

- at Azov Sea - 2 ships.

 

 

 

All State Border Guard Service of Ukraine units and facilities in Crimea are occupied; the officials of the State Border Service of Ukraine are under coercion of taking an oath to Crimean authorities.

Russian Federation Federal Security Service Border Guards arrived to Kerch for reconnoitering the state border guarding scheme.

People’s departure from Crimea is process. In fact, 24 persons left Crimea per last 24 hours (since the measures started - 973 persons).

The State Border Guard Service of Ukraine continues conducting the enhanced control over the compliance with the border regime and entering Ukraine by foreign nationals.

 

 

In fact, special border operations “Kordon”, “Rezhym” and “Rubizh” are conducted jointly with Ministry of Internal Affairs and Security Service.

On March, 19:

 

  • 263 Russian Federation citizens were refused to enter Ukraine by the reason of being failed to confirm the purpose of travel and their possible involvement into extremist activity (since measures started - more than 7100 persons);
  • 3 Russian citizens were banned to enter Ukraine for various offenses(since measures started –45 persons)

 

Russian Federation Federal Security Service Border Guard started enhanced border control procedure of entering into Russian Federation for Ukrainians.

In fact, per 24 hours 46 Ukrainian citizens were refused for entry into Russia Federation (since the measures started - 670 Ukrainian citizens).

On March 20, Russian side stopped border crossing of vehicles with the Ukrainian goods for several hours.

Besides, today after 6 p.m. border crossing for border regions’ local inhabitants in local BCPs is temporarily frozen by Russian side.
