A Russian couple with forged documents tried to bribe Ukrainian border guards at the Senkivka BCP in Chernihiv region.

A man born in 1965 and his wife, born in 1964, tried to get to Ukraine. During the border control, the SBGS officials found out that both foreigners had forged Covid-19 vaccination certificates.

Border guards told foreigners that the use of forged documents in Ukraine is a criminal offense, but the Russian nationals reacted in their own way. The woman offered a bribe of $200 so that the border guards would turn a blind eye to the crime and let them cross the border. Border guards refused to benefit illegally, and Internal Security officers of the Chernihiv Border Guard Detachment sent reports of violations.
