As a result of the shelling, a woman died, and three more people were injured.

On the 23rd of January, the enemy inflicted fire damage using mortars, barrel artillery, and MLRS. The Yunakivka, Bilopillia, Vorozhba, Esman, Znob-Novhorodske and Putyvl communities of Sumy Oblast and the Novhorod-Siverskyi, Semenivka and Snovsk communities of Chernihiv Oblast came under enemy fire.

In the first half of the day, the russian occupiers shelled the territory of the Bilopillia community twice with 120-mm mortars and in one case with barrel artillery, in total there were about two and a half dozen explosions from mine ruptures and almost two and a half dozen from shells. The fire came from the russian settlements of zorya and wolfino.

The enemy fired the border of the Esman community with mortars and barrel artillery from the area of lokot` and nekyslytsia settlements - 39 explosions were recorded.

In the Znob-Novhorod community, the enemy conducted a mortar shelling from the settlement of bila berezivka - 14 hits were recorded.

The russians shelled the Putivl community with MLRS - 15 "hits" of artillery shells were recorded from the area of dronivka settlement.

During the day, the russians shelled the Semenivka community twice: with mortars - 8 explosions, and from barrel artillery - 47 explosions. Enemy fire was directed from the area of novyi ropsk and sushany.

 

The Novhorod-Siversk community was under enemy fire three times - in total, about four and a half dozen strikes were recorded from the russian settlements of hudovka and pogar.

22 mortar shots were recorded along the border of the Snovsk community. The russians opened fire from the area of the village of kyrylivka.

In the afternoon, the enemy shelled the territory of the Yunakiv community with 120-mm mortars from the russian settlement of hornal, there was a dozen attacks. As a result of shelling, two houses and power lines were damaged in one of the settlements of the community.

Subsequently, the russian invaders shelled the territory of the Vorozhba community with barrel artillery, a dozen and a half explosions were counted. The fire was coming from the russian settlement zoria. As a result of shelling in one of the settlements of the community, a residential building, railway premises and tracks were damaged, gas pipelines and power lines were hit by shrapnel, and commercial premises of local residents were destroyed. Fortunately, there were no victims.
