Yesterday, the russian occupying forces continued their criminal tactics of shelling the border areas in Sumy and Chernihiv regions.

The enemy inflicted fire damage with the use of MLRS, self-propelled guns, mortars and small arms, and used UAVs dropping unknown ammunition for reconnaissance.

Krasnopilsk, Bilopolsk, Novoslobidsk, Shalyginsk and Seredino-Budsk communities in Sumy Oblast and Novgorod-Siversk, Semenivsk and Snovsk communities in Chernihiv Oblast came under enemy fire.

In the morning, the occupiers used mortars on the outskirts of two settlements located on the border between Bilopolska and Novoslobidska communities, totaling 17 «incomings».

Closer to noon, the enemy used small arms on one of the settlements of the Krasnopil community. Later, explosions from mortars were heard in the same settlement.

In addition, the enemy fired almost two dozen shots from mortars and self-propelled guns at one of the settlements located on the border between Sumy and Kharkiv regions.

The Shalygin community was shelled by the enemy six times during the day. They fired mortars and MLRS. In total, more than 40 explosions were recorded. In the evening, an enemy drone dropped an unknown explosive device into the forest, which was destroyed by sappers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Explosions from the ruptures of four mines of 120 mm caliber were recorded in the evening in the area of ​​the Seredino-Budsk community.

The Novgorod-Siversk community was under mortar shelling twice a day.

Also, Russia fired twice on the border of the Semenivsk community, where seven dozen ammunitions fired from MLRS and self-propelled guns exploded yesterday.

In the evening, the Russians fired 120 mm mortars at the territory of the Snov community. 5 explosions were recorded.

There was no information about the victims as a result of these shellings.
