Under the coordination of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyi, a military transport aircraft of the Air Force of the Armed Forces arrived at Boryspil International Airport this morning.

The aircraft provided evacuation of citizens from Afghanistan. There were 83 passengers on board, including Ukrainian citizens and foreigners who asked for help. Twelve Ukrainians, in particular, who were stranded at a military base near Kabul, returned home. Foreign journalists and public figures were also rescued.

The Chairman of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine was also present at the Boryspil BCP to meet the plane. He organized measures of border control of citizens and their proper clearance.
