Border guards of the Belgorod-Dniester detachment together with representatives of the Odesa customs found forged documents which the Moldovan citizen had to deliver to the customer in the Russian Federation.

The other day a Mercedes bus arrived at the “Starokozache” checkpoint from Moldova. After inspecting the vehicle, law enforcement officers found 2 parcels. They contained 6 passports of Ukrainian citizens, 6 driver's licenses of Italy, Romania and Great Britain, as well as 11 domestic passports of the Czech Republic, Poland, Romania and Italy. During an in-depth inspection of documents, border guards found that all documents contained signs of forgery.

The bus driver explained that he had no idea about the contents of the bag. However, he said that he was promised 1,000 Moldovan lei for each parcel.

Border guards informed the National Police about this fact. The documents were seized in the prescribed manner and sent for expert examination.
