The decision of the border guards regarding the vehicle was similar - the car was handed over to the National Police.

The 2015 Mercedes-Benz, which was on the international wanted list, was found by border guards of the Mukachevo Detachment. A 43-year-old Hungarian citizen tried to get to Ukraine in the stolen car.

The driver chose the Vylok BCP to cross the border. An Interpol database was activated during border control measures for the car he was driving.

According to this fact, the border guards of the Mukachevo BG Detachment informed the Ukrbureau of Interpol in Kyiv, and received confirmation that the vehicle was stolen in July 2016 in Austria.

The car was handed over to the National Police in accordance with the established procedure.

Another car – Skoda, crossed the border with Russia at the Milove BCP. During the border guard formalities, border guards of the Luhansk Detachment noticed activation of the Interpol database.

In the electronic system, the vehicle with the specified VIN code was listed as stolen in the Czech Republic in February this year. The Ukrbureau of Interpol has confirmed that the car was on the international wanted list.
