60% of Ukrainians trust border guards. Compared to previous social surveys by the Razumkov Centre, the level of trust in the State Border Guard Service has increased again.

Thus, in December 2020, the level of public confidence in the border guard agency was 58%, in November - 55%, in July - 52%.

A recent study was conducted by the Razumkov Centre's sociological service from March 5 to 9, 2021, using a face-to-face interview at the respondents' place of residence. 2018 respondents aged 18 and over were interviewed in all regions of Ukraine, except for the Crimea and the occupied territories of Donetsk and Luhansk oblasts, according to a sample representing the adult population according to the main socio-demographic indicators. The theoretical sampling error (excluding the design effect) does not exceed 2.3% with a probability of 0.95.

According to the survey, the balance of trust / distrust in border guards has increased in a positive direction and is almost 30% against 26.6% in December 2020. The State Border Guard Service demonstrates some of the best indicators among state and public institutions. The leaders of this rating are the Armed Forces of Ukraine (they are trusted by 70% of respondents), volunteer organizations (65%), the Church (64%), the State Emergency Service (63%).

Moreover, most Ukrainians (82% of respondents) distrust the Russian media, in December 2020 this figure was 80%.
