The Administration of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine hosted a meeting between the Head of the Border Guard Service and the Defense Attaché Office (DAO) of the US, Canadian and British Embassies in Ukraine.

The Administration of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine hosted a meeting between the Head of the Border Guard Service and the Defense Attaché Office (DAO) of the US, Canadian and British Embassies in Ukraine.

At the beginning of the meeting, Serhiy Deyneko thanked for the support and assistance provided by Allied countries in counteracting Russian aggression and helping to establish peace in Ukraine.

In turn, the Senior Defense Official and Defense Attaché of the U.S. Embassy in Ukraine Brittany Stewart reaffirmed the firm intention of international partners to be side by side with Ukraine in defending its sovereignty and territorial integrity.

The head of the State Border Guard Service informed the foreign delegation about the situation on the state border of Ukraine, in the area of ​​the Joint Forces Operation (JFO) and on the administrative border with the temporarily occupied Crimea, as well as the state and prospects of further development of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine.

Following the meeting, the Parties agreed to continue and increase cooperation, in particular on the participation of the State Border Guard Service units in the Joint Multinational Training Group – Ukraine (JMTG-U), additional training and joint exercises, both land and sea components.
