The work on strengthening the technical component of the border guard units of Ukraine continues as a part of the bilateral cooperation between the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine and the Federal Agency for Technical Relief of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Germany (THW), in response to the military aggression of the russian federation.

During 9 months of 2023, the Border Guard Service of Ukraine received a number of special vehicles and equipment from THW. These include trucks, dump trucks, compact loaders, mini-excavators and equipment for the accommodation of the personnel in the field.

This assistance significantly enhances the ability to perform tasks in border areas, improves the mobility of units in the existing conditions, and also allows timely response to possible changes in the situation.

Thus, the recently received vibratory rollers will soon depart to perform tasks related to the engineering equipment at the state border.
