Today in Lutsk the Final Meeting of the Steering Committee for the project “Visual control over the operation of checkpoints” (PLBU.04.01.00-UA-0240 / 17-00) in the framework of the Cross-Border Cooperation Program “Poland-Belarus-Ukraine 2014-2020” took place.
The meeting was attended by representatives of the Ukrainian and Polish parties of the Project and the Joint Technical Secretariat of the Program. The parties reported on the results of the project and noted the successful implementation of all project indicators.
In addition, the participants agreed on further cooperation within the next stage of the programming period for 2021-2027.
It should be noted that under this project, the border guard units are provided with unmanned aerial vehicles “DGI Metrice 200”, which are effectively used by the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine in the Ukrainian-Polish border protection.
