Yesterday, August 19, the russian occupying forces continued shelling the border area of Sumy Oblast.

The enemy inflicted fire damage using mortars. The communities of Krasnopillia, Bilopillia, and Shalyhyne were under enemy fire.

In the morning, the enemy from the russian settlement of tiotkino shelled the territory of the Bilopillia community with mortars twice, there were about a dozen explosions.

In addition, the occupiers shelled the territory of the Krasnopillia community with mortar fire twice a day; there were more than a dozen 120-mm mines hits in total. The fire came from the russian settlements of terebrino and starosillia.

Furthermore, a tragic event took place on the territory of the same community - a ZIL truck, moving along the side of the road, was blown up by a mine on a dirt road. The driver died on the spot.

In the course of the enemy shelling, the russians fired more than twenty projectiles at the Shalyhyne community of Sumy Oblast, and according to preliminary data, there were about 40 MLRS strikes, as a result the civilian infrastructure was damaged.

There are no casualties.
