Yesterday, on the 8th of December, the russian occupying forces continued shelling the border of Sumy region.

The enemy inflicted fire damage using mortars and grenade launchers. The Myropil, Shalyhine, Hlukhiv and Khotyn communities came under enemy fire.

In the morning, rushists shelled the territory of the Myropil community with 120-mm mortars from the russian settlement of hornal, a dozen and a half explosions were recorded.  Later, the enemy released a dozen more 120-mm mines on the territory of the Khotyn community. The fire started from the russian settlement of elizavetovka.

The Shalyhine territorial community came under enemy fire from 120-mm mortars and grenade launchers three times - 30 explosions were recorded. The russians fired from the  settlements of kozyne and stara mykolaivka.

The enemy fired the territory of the Hlukhiv community using grenade launchers from the settlement of horodishche - 5 explosions were recorded.

Members of the Defense Forces continue to protect Ukraine from the russian invaders.

The enemy continues to shell the Ukrainian border area.
