Yesterday, August 28, the russian occupation forces continued shelling the border areas of Sumy and Chernihiv regions.

The enemy inflicted fire damage using mortars and barrel artillery. Krasnopillia, Myropillia, Shalyhyne, Esman, Znob-Novhordske, and Bilopillia communities of Sumy region, as well as Semenivka community of Chernihiv region, came under enemy fire.

In the morning, the enemy hit the territory of Bilopillia community with barrel artillery from the russian settlement obod, almost three dozen shell explosions rang out.

In the afternoon, the enemy shelled the territory of Krasnopillia community with 120-mm mortars, several explosions rang out. The fire started from the russian settlement popovka.

Later, the rashists opened mortar fire on the territory of Myropillia community from the same russian settlement, there were about a dozen explosions.

Esman territorial community was subjected to shelling from barrel artillery, 6 explosions were counted.

Shalyhyne territorial community was subjected to shelling from barrel artillery, 6 explosions were counted. Znob-Novhorodske territorial community was subjected to shelling with the use of a 120 mm mortar, 3 explosions were counted.

Semenivka territorial community was subjected to shelling from 120 mm mortars three times, 19 explosions were counted.
