On September 11, the third Cup Tournament of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine for football in memory of Army General of Ukraine Valerii Hubenko ended in Lviv.

On September 11, the third Cup Tournament of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine for football in memory of Army General of Ukraine Valerii Hubenko ended in Lviv.

According to the results of the tournament the winner and holder of the Cup Tournament in memory of Army General of Ukraine Valerii Hubenko in 2021, is the team of Bohdan Khmelnytskyi National Academy of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine; the 2nd place was won by the team of the Eastern Regional Directorate; the 3rd place was taken by the team of the Western Regional Directorate.

In addition, according to the results of the competition, the best player of the tournament was Oleksandr Varava (Eastern Regional Directorate). The title of “The Tournament Best Goalkeeper” was given to Ivan Ivanochko (Western Regional Directorate). Andrii Muliar (Bohdan Khmelnytskyi National Academy of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine) received the Diploma of The Tournament Best Frontman.

The winners were awarded by the Chairman of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine.

This year, the tournament was attended by six national teams of the Border Guard Agency – four from regional directorates, as well as teams of Bohdan Khmelnytskyi National Academy of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine and Major General Ihor Momot Main Training Center for Personnel of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine. In total – 102 border guards, 43 of them - ATO/JFO participants.
