Today, on 18th of November, the new stage of the successful project of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine «New management face», which deals with selection of the personnel has started. This time agency selects candidates for the position of chiefs

The series of measures within the second phase of the project will allow to determine the current condition of the preparation level among leadership members of the State Border Guard authorities and to сonduct fair process of selection the most professionally prepared officers before their appointment to the reserve of pre-certified candidates.

Candidates for the participation in selection process may be officers, who:

• are on active duty at the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine for at least ten years;

• have higher education level not lower than the second (master's degree) in the sphere of law enforcement, military management or national security;

• have the rank of lieutenant colonel or colonel;

• have organizational skills;

• are in physical and psychological condition to perform their professional duties;

• has no corruption risks.

In order to join the selection, candidates should apply and write an agreement on polygraph research and motivation letter.

It should be stated, that person who has filled appropriate documents, has the right to withdraw its candidature informing the board in written form.

Overall rating will be determined by adding scores for knowledge of Ukrainian legislation in sphere of border security, level of physical training, weapons training, level of foreign language and Ukrainian business language and also qualification interview.

Every estimation element has its highest score: testing – 50 points; qualification interview – 30 points; level of foreign language and Ukrainian business language, level of physical training and level of weapons training – 5 points.

The deadline for registration and applying all the documents is 24^th of November.

According to the results of the first selection stage, officers who took the first places in rating were appointed immediately. Head of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine assigned appointment orders.
