On March 15, the first stage of training of the State Border Guard Service and the Armed Forces of Ukraine within the framework of the JMTG-U (Joint Multinational Training Group-Ukraine) exercise began in the Lviv region.

At the International Peacekeeping and Security Center of the National Army Academy, border guards will be trained together with one of the brigades of the Army of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The Ukrainian military will act according to common scenario - protection of state borders.

The head of JMTG-U, Colonel of the US Armed Forces Clayton Kuetemeyer, emphasized the positive dynamics – the increase in the number of participants from the State Border Guard Service.

Joint training of the two components of the defense sector of Ukraine – units of the State Border Guard Service and the Armed Forces of Ukraine – gives high results and trains units to interact during hostilities.
