The aggressor continues to attack by fire the border communities of Ukraine from Russia

Yesterday, on 9-th of August, russian troops continued to attack by fire the Ukrainian border areas using rocket and barrel artillery, mortars, and small arms.

The Myropillia Khotin, Novoslobidka, Seredyno-Buda and Bilopollia communities of the Sumy region, Snovsk community in the Chernihiv region and Zolochiv community of the Kharkiv region came under enemy fire.

In the afternoon, enemy self-propelled artillery guns discharged 15 projectiles on the territory of the Novoslobidka community. At the same time, the enemy from the russian settlement of Elyzavetivka fired the territory of the Khotin community with a large-caliber machine gun, about a dozen bursts were discharged by enemy.

Later, the occupiers covered the territory of the Bilopollia community with mortar fire, a dozen explosions were accounted. The fire came from the russian settlement of tiotkino.

In the Seredyno-Buda community, russian barrel artillery fired about 20 projectiles, in addition, the territory of the community was fired several times from large-caliber machine guns.

There were mortar explosions on the territory of the Myropillia community in the evening, 3 strikes were accounted. The fire came from the russian settlement of hornal.

Also, during the day, in two cases, the enemy covered the territory of Zolochiv community of Kharkiv region, which is on the border with the Sumy region using MLRS «Grad» and barrel artillery. There are about two dozen of hits in total.

The enemy fired mortars on the territory of the Snovsk community from the russian settlement of the chornozemnyi horodok, about 10 explosions were accounted.

 In the morning today,on 10-th of August, the enemy fired the territory of the Bilopollia community. More than 25 artillery projectiles and mortar mines were discharged from the russian villages, and at the same time, the invaders used grenades and opened fire with small arms, including large-caliber ones.

The Defense Forces continue to protect Ukraine from russian invaders.
