In the border village of Ripky, invaders have seized the local police department, shooting an unarmed local resident at the entrance to the village.

Enemy soldiers have already seized a tractor and a Kamaz truck and looted two grocery stores. At night, the aggressor's equipment drove through the streets and used floodlights to blind the windows of residents.

According to new information, a column of military vehicles marked ׅ“O” arrived at a general gathering of the townspeople, which took place near the Ripky St. Nicholas Church. A representative of the invaders, who called himself a police colonel, began to dictate his orders to the people. In case of disobedience, he threatened to use force, up to and including shooting at the settlement with artillery. He demanded that all the trucks be given back and announced a curfew. The representative of the invaders forbade the locals to gather, take off the military equipment, and come close to the police station.

The townspeople did not pester the invaders, sang the anthem and expressed their patriotic stance. They showed them photos and videos online of the Ukrainian army greeting the enemy. To this the interventionists denied that they had significantly fewer casualties. A person who called himself a police colonel said that he would report to the leadership about the local population's rejection of the occupation. He started negotiations with a resident of the town, who until 2010 was the chief of police of Ripok. They showed people who came photos and videos online of the enemy being met by the Ukrainian army.
