During the border control, border guards found out that a 2015 Audi A-4 was stolen in the UK and has been wanted by Interpol since January 2021.

A 32-year-old Romanian citizen tried to slip into Ukraine in a stolen foreign car. He was detained at the Solotvyno border crossing point by border guards of the Mukachevo border guard detachment.

During the border control, border guards found out that a 2015 Audi A-4 was stolen in the UK and has been wanted by Interpol since January 2021.

The car was handed over to the National Police for further inspection.

It should be noted that since the beginning of this year this is the 10th car detained by border guards according to the Interpol database, last year border guards detained about 60 cars that were in the international wanted list.
